With so many retail businesses struggling with the economy there is one bright spot. Thrift store sales are up! According to Commerce Department report thrift stores are enjoying a spike in sales. Not sure if this is good news or time for pause.
One bright spot stood out. The report noted that sales at thrift stores and other merchants selling used merchandise are up by 27.4 percent during the past 12 months.
